The car
I am now using a Citroen DS3 D Style 1.6 HDI e90 as my training vehicle.

John Verge driving school car

I didn't think I could find a better car than the Hyundai i20 for teaching, but again after trawling the showrooms, I came up with the Citroen DS3 D Style 1.6 HDI e90. It has everything the i20 had and more. The rear window is lower than the i20 and gives an even better rear view all around so even the smallest pupils can see clearly when reversing. The pedals are also set further back so the smaller pupils can reach them without stretching. With the great seat and steering wheel adjustments it also accommodates a SIX FOOT SIX guy quite comfortably. On top of this, it has nice little touches like the speed limiter, so the heavy right foot merchants can be controlled until they get used to driving at 30 mph! It has a tighter turning circle, making the turn in the road exercise a lot easier. Also it is even easier and much nicer to drive, probably the best small car I have driven and to cap it all, what a GREAT looking little car it is. Don't just take my word for it, take a look at the top car magazines, also Top Gear and Fifth Gear TV programmes, all have awarded it not only Best Small Car of the Year, but Best Car of the Year 2010. Come and have a drive and see for yourself, I guarantee you will love it, I do! All the pupils that have transferred with me from the i20 to the new Citroen say there is no comparison. The Citroen is so much better and even easier to drive. The new pupils coming on board are all loving the new car. It really is an easy car to drive.
